This was a another solid performance from FCLO. The leads, from Broadway were outstanding. Quite possibly, the best 'King' I have ever seen.

Good production, nice cast, cute kids, but a boring show for my taste...the music wasn't as good as I expected, and the audio wasn't very clear...we sat center, row p, and it was freezing for the first act...

Description

It has been 58 years since the story of Anna Leonowens and the King of Siam first graced the Broadway stage, and the beauty of this richly textured tale is as uplifting today as it was then.

The dazzling score include favorites: I Whistle a Happy Tune, Hello, Young Lovers, Getting To Know You, I Have Dreamed and Shall We Dance? The incomparable Jerome Robbins ballet, “The Small House of Uncle Thomas” is truly one of the marvels of musical theatre.
