Earl Carter has been part of the Washington, D.C. music scene for decades, first as a guitarist for the go-go group E.U. and then as a producer for acts in the area. Carter still played his guitar, and because a highly sought-after freelance musician, performing for big names like Freddie Jackson, Angela Bofill and Mya. I did not know what to expect relative to this venue...I had been to the restaurant and had no knowledge of the size and adjunct area for last night's performance. Jean Carne is ageless and her voice just gets better! The accompanying band with...continued
