Nurse Ratched is a character of such exquisite evil that she beat out Michael Corleone, Freddy Krueger, HAL 9000 and the Shark from Jaws in an AFI ranking of "100 Greatest Villains." Despite all her power, she meets her match in Randle P. McMurphy, the free-spirited patient who waltzes into her psych unit and threatens to upend her world in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Watching these two -- the strict authoritarian and the carefree rabble-rouser -- engage in a high-stakes game of control is one the chief pleasures of this Tony-winning stage adaptation of Ken Kesey's legendary novel (which also inspired the legendary, Oscar-winning movie). Stacy Holmes directs this tough, touching and tragic American classic now at the Attic Community Theater. Learn More

The venue was nice. I enjoyed the open theater atmosphere though you could hear a background/traffic noise when it gets loud.
The play itself was a bit disappointing. The acting and the production was a little amateurish.
I hope that there be a better production in this venue because it's nice for OC to have its own mini LA Greek Theater or Hollywood Bowl.
Measure for Measure is the Bard's dark political comedy about government hypocrisy, the tightening of rules regarding sexual conduct (even in private), and "law and disorder". Big Brother is at its best in Measure for Measure -- but remember, it's a comedy, and in the end "all's well that ends well."
