Together more than 20 years, the Merling Trio features three top talents: violinist Renata Artman Knific, cellist Bruce Uchimura and pianist Susan Wiersma Uchimura. The group has performed across the country and around the world, including at New York's Carnegie Hall and with orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra, the Honolulu Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic. For this engagement at the BlackRock Center, the trio -- acclaimed for both their individual precision and terrific ability to blend -- will perform works by Beethoven, Brahms and Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla.
