Award-winning South Korean pianist Yeol eum Son comes to the MAC to share the stage with the New Philharmonic. A Van Cliburn International Piano Competition medalist and rising young talent, Son's performances have been hailed as "breathtaking," "dynamic" and "charming." This program will feature Son on one of the Romantic period's most famous piano concertos, Schumann's Piano Concerto, Op. 54 in A Minor. As an added treat, the program will also include a rendition of Tchaikovsky's beautifully melodic fourth symphony.
