In this 1941 film, Abbott and Costello portray gas station attendants who inherit a haunted tavern. They and several travelers spend a hilariously spooky night at the tavern -- a night that includes murder, dead bodies and a mysterious moving candle! Lou Costello's daughters will make a special guest appearance.

A true treat to see such a wonderful classic on the big screen. Alex Theatre always hosts a great movie. The staff is wonderful and very courteous. They always have a wonderful display pertaining to the movie.

I loved the movie! I really miss Abbott & Costello movies on TV. It was a special treat to get into the mood for Halloween.

Abbott & Costello were so talented & worked so well together, which is always evident in all of their films. It is always a treat to see these classics on the big screen, especially when the film also shows the talents of the Andrew Sisters & their back-up orchestra of real true musicians.

The introduction documentary with his 2 daughters added a sensitive & touching beginning dealing with the greatness of these 2 men, who made their living on film, spending several hours a day in each others company. There will never be another team like Abbott & Costello - that's what makes these showings on the big screen so priceless.

Everyone should take advantage of viewing all classic movies on the big screen whenever they are shown. There's no comparison to viewing a classic on television verses the big screen. All of the details of the movie are so much more enjoyable.

Always fun to see Lou Costello do his "laughing to crying" routine. It was also nice to hear some family stories about Lou from his daughter. Nothing beats a classic film on the big screen--especially a lovely theater like the Alex.
