This area of Glendale can get crowded so arrive a little early to find parking behind the theatre or on the next block.

I wore light jacket or wrap if you are sitting in the balcony as the air conditioning can get cold..

We loved the Pops Orch & their marvelous conductor/director! We didn't find the guest singer to be as outstanding as these fabulous musicians! She was disappointing ;(

What's not to like: an art deco gem of a theater, a 35-piece orchestra led by Matt Gatingub, and a stellar vocalist in Carol Welsman.

Orchestra was fine, sound quality (artificial sounding), the vocalist was awful. I don't understand how she could be a professional jazz artist with so many better ones out there.
