It was really a wonderful event for children ages FIVE and up....there were so many babies/toddlers that it was sometimes hard to hear the orchestra...Overall, this is an outstanding way to introduce kids to classical music. And such a good price...L. Wood

My older son and I really enjoyed the music and the poetry read before each piece. It was a wonderful treat to see two talented young pianists play with the adult musicians. What I did not enjoy were the number of restless babies and toddlers crying and eating during the performance. This was very clearly meant for kids who could sit through a one hour performance inside a proper theater. There are several other concerts that are more appropriate for the under 5 crowd such as the Hollywood Bowl summer sounds series for kids or the numerous "music in the park" concerts that are performed throughout the summer from Eagle Rock to Pasadena for free. I have a younger toddler too, but I knew this was not the place to bring him so he and my husband did something else fun and appropriate for a 2 year old.

Loved it. Very well organized. I loved that there were instruments that the children could play before going in. Lots of things to see before the show. They told a little story about the music before each piece was played. I took a 3yr old and she loved it.
