A delightful new tradition has been established for my friends and me! Beautiful arrangements, awesome set and lighting, campy comedic interpretations, kick a** choreography, and heartfelt holiday hymns. Fab!Written on Dec 21 2011

As always, they were spectacular. The music was wonderful and their unique sense of humor made it even better. If you have not seen the "Malibu Monks" perform Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus," you have missed the experience of a lifetime.Written on Dec 19 2011

The show could have been a little more focused but always puts me in a holiday mood with it's infectious humor and warmth. Even though she had little interaction with the chorus I was unexpectedly amazed by Melissa Manchester. Overall a winner.Written on Dec 19 2011

About the Ticket Supplier: Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles
Hailed by the LA Times as "one of the last important links to a glorious tradition in music," the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles has been a notable part of Southern California for over twenty-five years. Formed in 1979 as a completely volunteer effort of 99 gay men from every area of Los Angeles, GMCLA has grown in size, gained professional artistic and administrative staff, toured nationally and internationally, released eleven compact discs, and appeared with numerous stage, film, and television celebrities.
Among the many "firsts" of this dynamic arts organization, GMCLA became the first gay ensemble ever to perform for a sitting U.S. President; the first openly gay performers ever to be broadcast nationally over Russian television in 1999; the first gay U.S. Chorus to tour central Europe in 1991 (a documentary of this historic tour, entitled Out Loud has been seen by millions of PBS viewers); read the rest of our remarkable history below.
The Chorus performs year round at the national landmark Alex Theatre, and offers outreach concerts all year long to further the mission of building bridges between all communities by sharing our music.
