This was not one of the stronger productions produced by the Glendale Centre Theatre. The production had many technical problems including the sound which distracted from the overall value of the show. Microphones went in and out with feedback throughout the show. Not an overall strong cast. The show did not flow with ease.Written on Sep 18 2008

With all the hype about this NOT being Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom", I was really expecting a great musical. But, the music I found to be mediocre at best. Some nice moments from the actress playing Christine, and Carlotta did well with the comedic acting, but the rest of the leads and the ensemble as a whole were rather week. The 1st half of the musical dragged on for far too long. It's nice to see the GCT branching out from the typical shows they do year after year, but this one just didn't work for me.Written on Sep 26 2008
