Members Who Went Said:It was great! The company, as always, was wonderful. I do hope that more - all! - of the programs at A Noise Within will be available from Goldstar.
Rob Humphrey Few things are harder to put up with than a good example The play was excellent. A Noise Within never disappoints! The Goldstar seat assigned to me, however, was not so excellent. My chair was crammed into a corner at the very top of the risers and half my view was blocked by a wall.
Derek A. it is a pleasure to see this great play performed. |

More Details About This Event: England's Prince Hal, supremely aided and abetted by that most famous of fat men Sir John Falstaff, rides on a vaporous cloud of high spirits and rollicking good times. But the rumblings of rebellion and civil war shatter childish games and in the process transform the boy prince into King Henry V, defender of the realm in William Shakespeare's sweeping historical saga.
About A Noise Within: A Noise Within, located in Glendale, is one of only a handful of theaters on this continent with a resident acting company performing in rotating repertory. This award winning company has achieved an enviable reputation for presenting first-rate productions of Shakespeare, Moliere, Shaw, Chekhov, and a wide variety of classic American playwrights. About A Noise Within at the Historic Masonic Temple: Prominent Glendale architect Arthur Lindley designed this ambitious nine-story reinforced concrete building in the 1920s, Glendale's "boom" decade, for the city's fast-growing Masonic organizations. With its Mediterranean and Art Deco elements, it was for many years the tallest building on Brand Boulevard. |
