A truly delightful evening for everyone at the annual Stooge-Fest at the Alex. Any fan of the Three Stooges shouldn't miss this rare opportunity to see several Stooge shorts on the big screen. The boys are up to their typical antics and the silly fun fills the theater. This particular screening had two very special speakers. Peter Farrelly spoke about the new Stooge movie being released in April 2012. Getting to listen Peter Farrelly was a treat in itself but the true delight of the evening was the lovely actress/singer Rose Marie talking about her days as a child singer and her work with the stooges and later her stint as Sally on THE DICK VAN DYKE. Having the rare opportunity to hear a bit of Hollywood history from a veteran actor was in itself worth the price of admission. All this and the Stooges..who could ask for a better evening?

Always a fun time at the Stooge-a-thon! We've been going to this annual event for years. Great to have it the day after Thanksgiving.
