Celebrate the grittiness and style of film noir at a beautiful 1925 movie palace -- the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale -- with a double dose of films featuring car chases and gun-toting dames aplenty. In Gun Crazy, a man becomes obsessed with a sharpshooting femme fatale, leading them both down a dark road of armed robbery, car theft and murder. This essential film noir was filmed on location in Los Angeles, including a bank robbery scene shot in nearby Montrose. The Lineup, set in 1958 San Francisco, stars Eli Wallach as the maniacal leader of a gang in mad pursuit of a group of innocent tourists who've had heroin stashed in their luggage. The Lineup was directed by Don Siegel, who would go on to direct such high-profile films as Dirty Harry. Learn More

The lead in the cast was outstanding! Broadway material at the least!
A downer of a plot but the cast was uniformly excellent. A brilliant job by the company and one of their best. I am making sure to see all their productions next season. Never want to miss one as good as this one was!
From a new team of writers comes a hard-edged, hard-boiled commentary on the American political machine. Part tabloid, part “The Manchurian Candidate,” The Fix is a totally original biting satire ripped from the headlines of today, yesterday and most likely tomorrow. A popular presidential candidate is dead, and his wife, who has power on the brain, thrusts her son into the political spotlight. Her maniacal scheming is matched only by that of her crippled brother-in-law, who will stop at nothing to see the boy elected. Together, the three of them make up one of the most dysfunctional almost-first families this side of real-life Washington politics.
With a driving, riveting score by John Dempsey and Dana P. Rowe (The Witches of Eastwick), The Fix is a powerful, nightmarish, hysterical roller coaster of a musical.
Directed by Randy Brenner
Musical direction by Darryl Archibald
Choreography by Heather Castillo
