This was a lot of fun and it was nice that they had 2 experts discuss the cartoons before they were shown. It was also nice that they kept the discussion short. It was fun to see cartoons I remember from my childhood on the big screen they way they were originally meant to be seen.

5 Stars is, "I LOVED IT." What's not to love about old, hard to get 35MM prints of "days gone bye?" It's always a pleasure to see the old cartoons we grew up with & realize the huge difference in the techniques used back then to accomplish such an appreciated art, all in itself. The hours it took to make one cartoon was painstaking for the film maker - thanks to the background information & research that went into this showing, we received an education along with the fun.

I certainly hope there will be more annual cartoon events to come, especially when you consider how much work goes into presenting these rare cartoons, with the background provided, to go along with each cartoon.

Once again, thanks Goldstar for the opportunity to witness a part of history.

This was a fantastic event and hopefully an annual one. What could be better than rare animated shorts seen on the big screen? I have seen some of these on TV, but so much is cut off so to see it like they originally were meant to be seen is a treat! Interesting discussion by experts on Rotoscope and other neat facts about the animated shorts. The video short to promote hopefully the next cartoon fest showing even more loved animated characters accompanied by the music of Raymond Scott was cool. To the guy that was one seat away from me looking at his cell phone constantly - now you know why I moved away. Please folks, if you can't put away your cell phone then stay at home because I want to see the movie presentation, not the glow from your cell phone--how rude!
