Description
The Pirates of Penzance tells the story of Fredric, a young pirate apprentice who comes to the end of his indentured period, but as it turns out, he was indentured by mistake. His half-deaf nurse had been instructed to apprentice him to a pilot, but got it a little wrong. Fredric has decided to leave the pirate life forever and devote his life to the extermination of pirates.
Upon his release to shore, Fredric, who has never seen any woman other than his old nurse, stumbles upon a group of beautiful maidens. He immediately falls in love with the most beautiful of the bunch, Mabel. Suddenly, Fredric's old comrades, the pirates, are upon them and delighted by the beauty of their captives. The girl's father, Major-General Stanley arrives to save them as the hilarious plot thickens.
