Had a great time. Fun costume contest on stage & organizers brought an actress and also a man involved in the production of the film. The Alex theater is a great venue for viewings of old classic movies.

I loved the entire experience from the beginning of the yellow brick road to Emerald City. The staff at Alex Theatre are always so friendly and nice. The theatre itself is just beautiful. I love seeing a classic cartoon before the show and to see Wizard of Oz on the big screen was the best experience. I also won a raffle prize!!

Loved it. I had forgotten the first 20 minutes of the whole movie, so it was a treat to see it again on the big screen & connect the Farm characters with the Wizard characters. The dialogue is much more advanced then what a child would be able to understand - it was more on the level of an adult, so as an adult, it was a pleasure to relive the movie again & gain so much more insight. A real treat!

Description

Wizard of Oz Sing-A-Long
with
Emerald City manicurist - Dorothy Barrett
Nationally-renowned Judy Garland impersonator, Elaine Horn

Put on your ruby slippers and head down to the Alex Theatre to belt out the hits at the Sing-A-Long screening of the 1939 classic, The Wizard Of Oz.

Let the dazzling Judy Garland be your guide as you sing “Over the Rainbow,” “Ding, Dong! The Witch Is Dead,” and other ditties about brains, hearts and courage (we suggest you bring three friends for a
quartet). In case you don’t have all the songs memorized (gasp!), lyrics will appear onscreen.

To complete the Wizard of Oz Sing-A-Long experience, audience members are encouraged to dress as their favorite Wizard of Oz character.
