A wonderful, well-paced, warm-fuzzy evening filled with valentines from the performers to Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, who were both in attendance at this fundraiser for the LACC Theatre program. Simply set with the musical director/pianist and a small pit band on stage, each performer walked out on stage and just cut loose. Talk about vocal fireworks! Oh my! Bruce Kimmel puts together wonderful tributes, and this was done with tons of heart and talent. Did you ever feel that you hadn't paid enough for your ticket? Yeah, that's how it was last night!
