It's always a treat to see the old musicals, especially when you can visually see what Las Vegas was like back in the day, & how much it has expanded to the modern present day Las Vegas. Ann Margaret was as great as usual with her dancing.Written on Jun 28 2011

A fun time with dance contest, Pink Panther short, and the feature movie with Elvis. Interesting to see how Vegas looked in the early 1960s.Written on Jun 28 2011

Description
Elvis stars as Lucky Jackson, a penniless race car driver who wants to win the Las Vegas Grand Prix but is currently working as a singing waiter to pay the bills. Both the race and Rusty may be up for grabs when rival Count Elmo Mancini (Cesare Danova) rolls into town. But once he spots swimming instructor Rusty (Ann-Margret), an elaborate mating dance begins that culminates in the wild and sensuous production number, "C'Mon Everybody." Other musical highlights include the rousing title song (written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman), Elvis’ own version of "What'd I Say," Ann Margret performing "Appreciation," and an impromptu version of "The Yellow Rose of Texas." With co-stars Jack Carter, William Demarest and The Jubilee Four plus director George Sidney at the helm, this flick tools along rosily.
