This engaging sequel to Roger Bean's hit musical comedy The Marvelous Wonderettes picks up the action on Christmas 1968 -- a few months after the singing ladies' 10-year high-school reunion. The gals are entertaining at a holiday party, which is in danger of going down the chimney after Santa goes missing. This rocking Coastal Rep show brings back the signature four-part harmony of Missy, Suzy, Betty Jean, and Cindy Lou, with songs like "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Santa Baby," "Jingle Bell Rock," "O Tannenbaum" and "Mele Kalikimaka." One of the best theater experiences I have had in a long time. Not only was it a beautiful production, but it also had a perfect cast of actors. They did an incredible job and made everything seem so real. The play was sad but uplifting at the same time. Get there early and check out the traveling Anne Frank exhibit.

Superbe performane, aan unforgetable theatre experience Conversation and Q&A with full cst after the show added to the experience, as did powerful display of photos and text relating to the play in the theatre lobby. Highly recommend
The Coastal Repertory Theatre will be hosting a stunning exhibit, Anne Frank—A History for Today, which focuses on the Holocaust, WWII and the Frank family. This remarkable exhibit will run concurrently with the production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Produced by the Anne Frank Center USA, based in New York, and the Anne Frank House, Amsterdam, this beautifully designed, bilingual exhibit uses images, excerpts from Anne’s diary, and historical research to provide rich context for this production.
