Grammy-winning R&B diva Patti LaBelle has blown audiences away ever since she and her '70s group Labelle belted out "Lady Marmalade." Since then, the powerhouse performer has piled up accolades for a songbook that includes "New Attitude," "If You Asked Me To" and "If Only You Knew." Her soaring voice has graced the halls of the Apollo Theater, the Metropolitan Opera House and the White House. LaBelle's current tour finds her touching on classic tracks and revisiting her gospel music roots. R&B singer Lyfe Jennings ("Must Be Nice," "Cry") starts off the evening with heartfelt songs about his hard-knock life. Learn More

I've been a Tom Lehrer fan for many years. In the early 70s I discovered my brother's old album and it fit into my Mad magazine and National Lampoon sensibilities. The songs seem a bit dated with focus on the A-bomb and the Soviet Union but all...continued
Thomas Andrew (Tom) Lehrer (born April 9, 1928) American songwriter, satirist, pianist, mathematician, and singer
Simply put, Tom Lehrer is a true genius, having earned a Bachelor’s in mathematics from Harvard by the age of 18, and a Master’s degree by age 19. However, his genious is even more obvious from his songs. To listen to them is to experience genius in an accessible, yet inimitable way. Lehrer has never shied away from controversy, or worried in the least about being politically incorrect. His songs were often in the vanguard of social morality, although he probably doesn’t see himself as a social crusader. Known for his musical talents, mathematical brilliance and comedic gifts, Tom Lehrer has inspired a deep following, especially among the intelligentsia.
