When the mysterious and sultry Vanda walks into playwright Thomas Novachek's office, he thinks the search for the perfect lead in his latest production might finally be over. But her audition quickly turns into a seductive and erotic power play that'll make you wonder who's really running the show. Enjoyed the performance! Great acting; enjoyable performance. Unfortunately, some of the people who attended seemed full of negativity from the moment they sat down, which detracted a bit from the overall positive experience. Hope to return to this theatre in the future. Wishing for more positive, young energy!

The Woman in Black was first performed in 1987 at the Theatre-By-The-Sea in Scarborough. In 1989, the show moved to the Lyric, Hammersmith, in London’s West End. It subsequently transferred to the Strand Theatre, the Playhouse and the Fortune Theatre, where it is now in its 25th year, and is the second longest-running West End play, after The Mousetrap. The Woman in Black has been translated into a dozen languages and produced in 40 countries. In 2012, Daniel Radcliffe, of Harry Potter fame, appeared in a film adaptation of Susan Hill’s novel.
