More Details About This Event: James Conlon conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Mahler’s 7th Symphony and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor. Mahler’s epic symphony has often been viewed as a depiction of the journey from dusk till dawn. The featured soloist is world-renowned violinist Sarah Chang, whose musical understanding, technical ability, and performance emotion captivate audiences across the globe.
