Saw "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" last week and were very impressed with the acting that we went back to see "Italian American Reconciliation." The acting was wonderful and the play was a joy to watch. {There's a great Thai restaurant just east of the theater.)Written on Aug 17 2009

Description
Celebrity directors like Joe Mantegna and stars like Sally Struthers, Danny Nucci and Robert Costanzo are coming together to celebrate the works of John Patrick Shanley in a 6-month festival.
The festival is the dream child of 68 Cent Crew Artistic Director, Ronnie Marmo, and the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company.
The festival, created to honor the works of John Patrick Shanley, has even received the blessing of John Patrick Shanley himself.
Says Ronnie Marmo: "I love John Patrick Shanley. For 13 years now it's been a dream of mine and our theatre company to honor him and his plays by doing his entire book, 13 By Shanley. I have been in touch with him and he has given me his blessing. Shanley is enjoying a lot of attention and success right now with the Academy Award-nominated film, Doubt, which he wrote and directed.
