The event started with a a band called Brasilidade, which played many different rhythms like Samba and Pagode among others. It was warm and it really felt like you were in Brazil! When Olodom began to play, there wasn't anyone who was sitting. Everyone was dancing and grooving and having a great time. I loved it!Written on Sep 27 2010

Description
Percussion is the pulse of this year’s festival. Olodum, from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, is the group that created samba reggae, combining Brazilian samba with Jamaican reggae, merengue and salsa. They drew inspiration, both musically and ideologically, from Bob Marley. In 2010 the 23-member percussion and dance ensemble marks the 30th year of bringing their brand of Afro-Brazilian culture to the world.
Opening for Olodum is Brasilidade Samba and Pagode Show - playing the best of samba and pagode rhythms plus stunning Brazilian dancers!
