Over its three-decade history, the Playboy Jazz Festival has hosted the biggest names in jazz from Miles Davis to Ella Fitzgerald. 2012 marks the 34th year of the festival and will feature music from the Christian McBride Big Band, Ozomatli, Boney James, Sheila E., Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Ramsey Lewis Electric Band, Robin Thicke, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Keb' Mo', Terri Lyne Carrington and more. Held at the Hollywood Bowl, the festival offers two terrific days of music in a beautiful outdoor setting. The Show was Fantastic...Really enjoyed the Tributes (except for JuanGa was kinda corny)....Fireworks show was Great! I guess the only disappointment was the "NO Outside Booze" rule change at the Hollywood Bowl! Well at least the people were CALIENTE!!Written on Jun 20 2011

The MARIACHI USA Festival celebrates 22 years of phenomenal family tradition. Sing and dance the night away to an effervescent experience of outstanding Mariachi music, dance and spectacular fireworks. It's a joyful celebration for the entire family.
You may bring only nonalcoholic beverages in plastic containers to the Hollywood Bowl. However, Patina's Concessions (located at the Bowl) sells alcoholic beverages for your responsible enjoyment.
