Classical music comes to the Egyptian Theatre when American Cinematheque screens 3 Superstars In Berlin, a recording of a historic open-air performance by three of the biggest names in opera. Superstar soprano Anna Netrebko is joined by her husband, baritone Erwin Schrott, and star tenor Jonas Kaufman in a program that includes famous duets from Bernstein's West Side Story, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and Puccini's Manon Lescaut. The program also features popular tango duets, Mozart arias (Leporello's aria from Don Giovanni) and excerpts from Gounod's Faust. Marco Armiliato conducts the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
