My Husband and I really enjoyed it!!!!! We will be attending next year. I recommend to anyone who like high energy funny commedians.
I loved it! Rodney Perry really connects with his audience. He is very funny. I really feel lucky to have payed half price for my ticket. I wish I had known about Golstar before hand. I had no problems when I got to will call. I am also planning on attending the 3 on 3 basketball coming up. Thank you!
Live comedy show with a few names you would know and a few you would not. The show was funny and entertaining. I loved AJ Jamal he was the best, he was able to make jokes about current events that were funny because they were so true!!
it was okay. Not what I expected. Thought there would be a grass area where we could picnic and eat our lunches we packed. It was difficult to eat in the seating arrangements. The comedy was okay.
I enjoyed the event. Wasn't too crowded, the parking was close (a bit pricey though) I will attend next year.

it was really cool to be able to bring your own picnicing items to the Ford amphitheater. there was plenty of shade and seating for this event. it was laid back and fun!
I thought the Laff Festival event was very fun and entertaining. I really enjoyed the line up of comedians. Also, the price of the tickets were excellent!
A "cultural" event that keeps you laughing from the very beginning to the very end! We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a really nice sunday outing. The weather was beautiful, a good group of comedians as well as some singing and poetry. The audience had good participation and the DJ was excellent. This is an event I will definitely be looking forward to next year.
I really enjoyed it. Most of the comedians were funny. There was a balance of poetry, dance and comedy. NOT for children at all

Great way to end the 4th of July holiday weekend. Picnic lunch, wine, comedy, great atmosphere. Truly delightful. Additionally, tickets were a fraction of the cost which was the best perk ever.
Event was great adult venue, having the TENT overhead was a great addition hopefully it will be used at future events would be a BIG PLUS.
The audience partcipation was great however the MC should work the entire theatre he focused on the front and not the rear this time.
A J Jamal was off the hook! Please try to find female comedians who are funny without using vulgar lanuage.
Hey wait a minute having the dancing at the end of the event was the icing on the cake the young crew should have been one if the acts and not the closing... they great but if it's not broke don't tamper with it.

We had a fantastic time and will go again next year - hopefully with tickets thru Goldstar! Our seats were great and the price was right for an afternoon of lots of laughs. Loved being able to bring our own drinks/food.
The 1241-seat outdoor Ford Amphitheatre is set against a backdrop of cypresses and chaparral in the Hollywood Hills. It is relatively intimate: no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are presented during the summer months. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
