This is a great venue and its worth visiting regardless of the event. Good comedians but a little more variety would have been appreciated. I enjoy going to the Ford Amphitheater and mostly I attend any event just to be there. I don't feel fair to rate the event since after a bottle of wine on a gorgeous Sunday summer afternoon and good company prove to be too distracting.
I can say that everyone else seemed to be enjoying so it was good.
This was so much fun! AJ Jamal as MC the DJ's and most of the comedians really made this a nice afternoon!
The Laff Festival was very nice. My husband and I had a great time. Most of the comedians were average, but then again they're up-and-coming so they did their best. There were a couple who were really good. All in all, it was a nice time out. The weather was great as well. I've never been to the Ford Amphitheatre and it is very nice and intimate. Looking forward to other events there.

The 1241-seat outdoor Ford Amphitheatre is set against a backdrop of cypresses and chaparral in the Hollywood Hills. It is relatively intimate: no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are presented during the summer months. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
