Members Who Went Said:The play was pure, hilarious fun. The venue is a small 99 seat theater in Hollywood, so there isn't a bad seat in the house. You are pretty much up close and personal to the entire production. Parking wasn't a problem, but you have to always be mindful to lock your car and make sure valuables can't be seen inside, as the surrounding neighborhood is rather rough around the edges. All in all, it was a great experience and a terrific value thanks to Goldstar!
K terrible. everything. cript, acting, jokes, everything. including the audience. i was with 3 friends, and none of us cracked a smile. there were a group of audience who just laughed and laughed and laughed in the most inappropriate manner....so loud and obnoxious and disctracting that it was very difficult to follow the play. for instance, one character would peep his head out from the back stage, and people would crack out in loudest laughter....taking all the attention from the cript. needless to say, we all left during intermission...and even the wait for that was excruciating.
Dan Cohen Surprising in the way it took familiar material in its own, indiosyncratic direction. |
