I loved it..............great cast, very funny. The staff at the theatre are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The real Greg Brady(Barry Williams) was in the audience during our show!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I won the raffle for the night. Free dinner at the Canteen two doors down. :)
Please go, it should be on Broadway. I'm not sure why it's not there yet.

I recall the "real" Carol Brady as sassy, playful, young & good looking. The actress playing Carol wasn't right for the part and far from young. Sorry, I just had a real hard time thinking of her as Carol Brady.
The story was cute, the lyrics funny and Cindy stole the show!

All in all it was a great night. The play had its moments. I have to say that I thought the brady girls were much better then the brady boys. But Cindy stole the night, I thought she was amazing. I also felt like Mom Brady was a bit too old for the role.

Enjoyable if a bit too risque and adult for "purist" fans (like my boyfriend) of the TV series. Fun songs and great performances, though the actress playing Carol is too old for the part and has the weakest singing voice of everyone in the cast.

The performances were average. We were in the second to last row (sitting next to the original Greg Brady) and it was hard to hear. The performers need to project beyond the first three rows. The theater was f***ing hot, people left during the performance because it was so hot. That being said I found the story line and lyrics witty.

campy, silly... wonderful cast..

Lots of fun.

really enjoyed the production, anthough the actors who portrayed Mike and Carol Brady werem't as strong as the other cast members.

A great show for hardcore Brady fans. I enjoyed it and especially liked the actors who played Bobby and Cindy and their solo number. The actress playing Carol is a fine actress, but just wrong for the role - she worked very hard, but I never believed her.

It was only OK. Good idea, but it really needs to be developed more.

OMG - I LOL'ed til I cried! The actors were fantastic in exploiting the subtle eccentricities of characters that were originally created to be pretty vanilla. I hope this show goes into further development and expanded staging. It's a gem!

Great show, very funny. If you're not a fan of the Brady Bunch, I wouldn't recommend it, but it you are a fan---GO!! Cindy Brady stole the show!

Went with a group of seven and we laughed our butts off to the point of crying.
I'd love to give it 3.5 stars but that's just not an option here.
The songs, for the most part, were entertaining and spirited. Highlights include "Greg's Car", (what I can only describe as) "The Pickle Song" and my favorite "Totally Useless".
The staging of this production just made it for me. I was amazed at how they made use of the space and you will be too.
Bobby Brady stood out amongst the Brady men.
As a whole, the Brady women dominated the show. I had read that Carol Brady was the weakest singer but her voice was just fine. Marsha, Jan and Cindy just flat out ruled!
More could have been done with everything involving Alice. The songs didn't work for me at all and I was happy when the kids stopped going to Alice.
In a few spots the music was louder than the dialogue but that's minor.
Consistent laughs, good music, visually wonderful and loads of fun.
Was damn near perfect.

The show was hilarious! I grew up watching the "Brady Bunch" and I could really appreciate the inside jokes! What a fun experience! I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to have a fun evening out.

It could have been fabulous ! Cindy and Jan were perfection! Mike was very good! Bobby was taller than peter, Marcia was fine - but really came alive the three times she said ,"skewall" (school),the actress that played Carol was just too old- it was so distracting- and why put wigs on Mike and Cindy to perfect their looks, but not on anybody else? I like consistency. At least put a wig on Alice too. Alice should not have shoulder length red hair! The Brady kids were all talented, the dance numbers were adorable, some songs were cute. I would have loved to see an actual Brady musical with the songs and circumstances from the old shows.. The story line was fine- the extra players turned it very "community theater" (although the dancing Rabbi was hysterical...)and without giving anything away, Marcia and Greg "end up" somewhere together over night- that would have been a great time to see them rip each others clothes off and make out! But, unlike the stories we have all heard from the real cast members themselves... there was no sexual tension written in this show :( !!!
Proving that yesterday's earnest, innocuous family sitcom is today's jokey grown-up musical comedy, A Very Brady Musical - a new satire based on TV's "Brady Bunch" - will make its world premiere in Los Angeles.
The show bowing at Theatre West has book by Lloyd J. Schwartz and Hope Juber, music and lyrics by Hope Juber and Laurence Juber. Schwartz will direct. It's based on the TV series that was created by Sherwood Schwartz - Hope and Lloyd's dad.
Through a misunderstanding, the Brady kids overhear a loud argument between their usually perfectly-in-love parents. The kids think their parents might be heading for a divorce and dig in to raise money to obtain marriage counseling for their woe-stricken parents. Greg operates a car service; Marcia dates for money; Peter and Jan put on magic shows; and Bobby and Cindy look for money in couches. Did you ever imagine what the Bradys might look like in a holding cell at the local police station? Somehow even Alice gets in some legal trouble for fraud.
"All the while Mike and Carol are desperately trying to have sex, something they have never done since they've always had six kids in the house and have never had any alone time."
The plot is grown-up, "so leave the young kids at home," and witness "a great evening of reliving some special Brady moments that you secretly wished had happened."
Sherwood Schwartz, who also created the TV classic "Gilligan's Island" (which was also made into a stage musical), created the original "Brady Bunch" series. He is executive producing A Very Brady Musical.
