Absolutely amazing show! Great balance of all elements of the performance: coreography, dancers' movements, music and singers. And the venue, with the hill and foliage behind the stage, lent itselft to the spirit of the dance. This show blended really well the beauty of Afro-Brazilian traditions with modern dance.Written on Aug 07 2010

This performance had a much more spiritual/religious vibe than I was expecting. I really prefer more of the celebratory/Mardi Gras/Party Brazilian Dance and music. I have had the privilege of seeing a Brzilian show at the Ford before that was much more exciting.Written on Aug 03 2010

Went to see this Brazilian show the other night with my boyfriend,my son, and his girlfriend. We all thought that it was to long and a bit boring. The singing was good and the dancing was good but all to repetitive. Some of the costumes were very colorful and very visual. Not sure what we were expecting, but more than what we saw.Written on Aug 02 2010

The show was breathtaking! The dancers and the music were amazing! The choreography was a mix of AfroBrazilian Folkloric dance interspersed with elements of modern/contemporary dance. The music also reflected this mix. Some of the dancers and musicians were guest artists directly from Bahia, Brasil. Overall, the energy of both dancers and musicians was very high and brought the crowd to it's feet at the end. We were taken on a wonderful journey!Written on Aug 02 2010
