I was very excited for this show because I'm a huge Jack Nicholson fan. I have been a fan for over 20 years and have encyclopedic knowledge of Jack. So, sad to say, I was disappointed. The skits were basically rehashing Jack movies. They were just acting out famous scenes and not bringing anything new to it. Some of the impersonators were ok. I liked the female Jack best. Some skits wont make sense to the casual fan -such as the one about Jack working with Barbara Streisand. They never mentioned the movie was On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, was terrible, and Jack sang in it. There wasnt much on his personal life either except for being a Laker fan. I would go see the Walken show to give the theater another chance, but this wasn't good.

If you are a fan of small, independent theatre and/or Jack Nicholson, you will enjoy this show! Cleverly written, there are vignettes of scenes (performed by the actors, not actual movie clips) from Jack Nicholson movies interspersed with a running gag of Jack at the Laker's games. There are two other inter-stituals used throughout the show which are very clever and I will not give them away by trying to explain them. Great music to round out the show.
My favorite part was a mid-show improv sketch using audience requests. It was a wonderful venue to showcase the actor's individual skills.
Parking is free, which is a miracle all by itself in Hollywood. Definitely a fun experience for $7.00.

It's a fun show in an intimate setting. You get the feeling you're with a bunch of your close buddies who enjoy each other's company and you can't help laughing at each others crazy Jack Nicholson impressions.
An avid theatre goer.
