Celebrate the end of summer with this two-day music bash along one of the world's most iconic rock meccas -- the Sunset Strip. Featuring more than 60 bands at historic rock venues like the Whiskey a Go-Go and The Roxy, as well as along The Strip itself, the 2014 Sunset Strip Music Festival includes headlining performances by L.A.'s own Jane's Addiction and Australian electro-pop duo Empire of the Sun along with Mayor Hawthorne, the Cold War Kids and many more. Jane's Addiction launched their nearly 30-year career with their first live gig at The Roxy in 1985. Now the band, who are being honored with the 2014 Elmer Valentine Award for their impact on the legacy of The Strip, will bring it all full circle with a historic performance of their seminal 1988 album Nothing's Shocking in its entirety. Please see the full event description for a list of bands performing at this year's fest. Learn More
