While I enjoyed the dancers, the pleasant surprise of the evening was Willie K. I had no idea that his vocal talents were so diverse. His performance was simply awesome. It was my first time at this particular venue (Ford Amphitheatre), and I found it charming and intimate.Written on Oct 20 2010

This was such a professional, joyful group of dancers that were in amazing unison throughout their dances. I have never seen dancers move so fast but be totally in the music and feel of the dance. And Uncle Willie K was unknown to me, however, he has become memorable now. His guitar was like part of him and not a separate instrument, just like his gifted, versatile voice. The evening was such a joy.Written on Oct 16 2010

Fantastic show with amaaaazing artists. Dancers were absolutely phenomenal and Willie K was/still is, one of the best entertainers around! The whole show left us "wanting for more!!". Luckily the theatre was small, so our seats, even though they were towards the back and on the side, were still pretty good to see everything.Written on Oct 15 2010

Description
Get your Aloha groove on with authentic Hawaiian dances from award-winning Hula Halau Keali'i O Nalani under the direction of Kumu Hula Keali'i Ceballos. Keali'i O Nalani is one of the few mainland halau invited to Hawaii's prestigious Merrie Monarch Hula Competition. In this special presentation the performers will trace the Tahiti-to-Hawaii migration of Pacific Islanders through "kahiko" (ancient hulas and chants) and "auana" (contemporary hula) dances. Then, Maui-based musician/singer/songwriter and Hoku Hano Hano Award-winning guitarist Willie K electrifies the stage with his masterful guitar playing and songs.
