Self-Proclaimed GOLDSTAR POSTER BOY
THE CONCERT ITSELF, THE MUSIC/ LINE UP/ LEVEL OF TALENT WAS TRULY, TRULY AMAZING!! STAGING/ TIME SCHEDULE WAS KEPT, WHICH IS COMMENDABLE CONSIDERING ALL THE THINGS THAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG ETC.. THERE WAS ONLY ONE SOUND ISSUE/PROBLEM, AGAIN AMAZING WITH ALL THE DIFFERENT ACTS COMING AND GOING. NO BAD PERFORMANCES, ONLY TWO... THAT PERSONALLY WE DIDN'T CARE FOR... ONE THAT JUST WAS NOT OUR TASTE AND THE OTHER NOT COMPARING VOCALLY/ INTEREST WISE TO THE OTHERS.Written on Aug 08 2010
IN OUR CASE THE VIP TICKET EXPERIENCE WAS A COMPLETE, UPSET - DISASTER FROM THE GET GO ENTERING THE PARKING LOT AND A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. DON'T KNOW WHAT OR WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE. I DON'T THINK IT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH GOLDSTAR OR THEIR INVOLVEMENT. WE WOULD HAVE HAD A MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE, BEEN LESS STRESSED OUT OR UPSET, CONFUSED HAD WE JUST BOUGHT THE $15 TICKETS!! AND IMPORTANTLY HAD JUST AS GOOD SEATING, IF NOT POSSIBLY BETTER ( MAINLY BECAUSE THE PEOPLE SITTING NEXT TO US WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN VIP'S, TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS, DRUNK TAKING FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE OPEN BAR, GETTING UP FOR MORE DRINKS EVERY FEW MINUTES, TALKING LOUD, ACTING OUT ETC. THROUGH ALMOST THE WHOLE CONCERT ETC ETC.

The Artists were all very talented! We enjoyed them all, especially Sixpence None the Richer, Jon McLaughlin and Katharine McPhee. The General Admission tickets worked out great, because we ended up with seats in the fourth row! Unfortunately, the family who took the seats next to us were obnoxious, and kept going in and out of our row. The usher made them move their big rolling bag out of the aisle, so they decided to move it into the empty seat next to me. They kept passing their bottle of wine around and spoke loudly during the concert. I wish would they would have passed out from all their drinking, so I could have enjoyed listening to the music instead of their excessive banter!Written on Aug 09 2010
