Description
ATTACK OF THE 50-FOOT REELS, approx. 70 min. The 10th annual Attack of the 50-Foot Reels returns with a Super-8 special adieu to KODACHROME film. Films in this showcase are shot and edited in camera on one cartridge of Super-8 film. The filmmakers and the audience see them for the first time the night of the screening. Fifteen filmmakers will shoot a Super-8 film on one cartridge of Kodachrome Super 8 film, which was discontinued by Kodak in 2005. Now the last lab in the world that processes it will discontinue its service at the end of this year. Filmmakers will introduce each short. Reception to follow the screening.
