The Egyptian Theatre celebrates the 80th anniversary of Cecil B. DeMille's lavish epic Cleopatra with a special screening and party, along with a show of Egyptian-inspired pin-up art. Starring Claudette Colbert, this filmic spectacle is notorious for its slinky, risqué gowns that are far more suggestive of the 1930s than of ancient Egypt. This Hollywood movie palace built in 1922 in an Egyptian-influenced design has a huge outdoor courtyard that was designed for celebrity movie premieres and red carpet ceremonies and is the perfect setting for this festive evening. The event will also include drinks sponsored by Golden Road Brewery, make-up stations, a "Make Your Own Mummy" contest, photo ops and Egyptian-themed activities. Dress like an Egyptian and you just may win a prize. Learn More

This was two great films for about half the price of a regular admission. Totally worth watching both films projected on a big screen in the exact way they were meant to be shown. The producer was there for a Q&A session. Would love to see more of these types of offers on Goldstar as well as from the Egyptian theater.
