I took my nieces and nephew and they had a blast - from the jugglers in front of theatre to the historic detail of the theatre itself, there was an organist performing holiday standards, a few classic song and dance numbers with the Disney characters then finally the movie Bolt in 3D!
Thanks Goldstar for a entertaining holiday outing with the kids! We want to see Pinnochio next!

This was a fantastic show! The El Capitan Theater is very elegant and organized with a super-friendly staff. Be sure to arrive EARLY to get great seats if you purchase General Admission. First go to the box office and show your Goldstar receipt to obtain your tickets. You will then be directed the the wait line for entrance. We arrived about an hour & 45 minutes early and waited in line. But well worth it since we got to sit FOURTH ROW. The kids enjoyed the Holiday stage show which included characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip n Dale, Pooh, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Belle and Cinderella. Bolt was in 3D and was full of action and adventure. It is full of heart. Great movie! Don't forget to get your parking ticket validated for a partial (but signicant) reduction in parking fees. We saved $8!

My family and I took my 8 year nephew and he absolutely loved it. It was a perfect size theater and the organ player was fantastic! My nephew loved the music, the live show and most of all the cool curtain/screens that lit up. It was definitely worth the money. Who knew parking was so easy in that area....give it up for L.A. city for taking over the parking lot in that area. I would definitely come back again. I was in town from from No. California and I am not easily impressed and I was impressed!

Description

The story is about Bolt (John Travolta), a dog who has lived all his life on the set of a TV show in which he portrays a superhero dog. As a result, he thinks that his superpowers, and events on film, are real. Later, he gets accidentally separated from the studio. As a result of his misunderstanding, he believes that he must "save" his owner from the evil "Man with the green eye". He then meets a female cat named Mittens (Susie Essman) and a hamster with an exercise ball named Rhino (Mark Walton), and eventually he discovers that all of his powers are fake.
