Dont be lazy, pack a nice picnic, and never forget the wine-it is a must!!! A nice picnic experience is as important as the event itself...so bring plenty of food, cheeses, crackers, anything that will make your stay enjoyable. Come early, a good picnic should last at least an hour and a half. Our Concert started at 8pm, and we were sitting already at the picnic table at 6, after parking and collecting our tickets (30 mins). Note that the picnic areas are closed 15 min before the event start.

Best parking is at the Hollywood and Highland for $13 then there are shuttles to the Bowl for $5 roundtrip or free when you show your Tap card for buses and metro.

I purchased these tickets for a friend who loved the show.

He and his sister had a terrific time.

The Bowl is always wonderful, of course. That said, this was a very special concert. Gaffigan is talented and Grimaud is simply masterful at the piano. Her encore was especially terrific -- can anyone reading this identify the piece?

Excellent! Received seating in section K1. The Bowl's new audio and video systems added significantly to this experience. Grimaud is outstanding and the HD video enabled the viewing of hand skills up close.
