Although Cynthia Silver agreed to allow a documentary crew film her preparations for her lavish New York City wedding, she was shocked when that footage was aired on Fox as the reality show Bridezillas, making her the target of ridicule and criticism. In this one-woman show, Silver tells the humorous story of her wedding, marriage, and unwelcome celebrity in her own words.

I brought a friend of mine and we both really enjoyed it. Would recommend it if it hadn't been the last show. Very glad we went.

Cynthia Silver, the unlikely heroine of the Fox TV and WE Network's hit series Bridezillas, blows the lid off reality television in her hilarious one woman show Bridezilla Strikes Back! Co-written with Kenny Finkle, Bridezilla Strikes Back! chronicles Silver's naïve foray into the world of not-so-real TV, as well as her struggles with the concept of marriage and the rigors of navigating the mercenary New York bridal industry.
Having agreed in the summer of 2002 to allow a British documentary crew to film the preparations for her lavish New York City wedding, Silver was shocked to discover the film had been sold to and WE and turned into a reality TV show tellingly called Bridezillas. Suddenly an unwitting traveler in a demoralizing landscape, Silver found herself mocked on TV and pilloried in the press and chat rooms, her wedding ridiculed in re-runs and countless promos.
