Description
Arnaldo! Drag Chanteuse likes to say he is “opening hearts and minds
through music, one cabaret at a time." And what a time he is having!
In his current critically acclaimed show, C’est Si Bon, Arnaldo! offers an homage to his musical muse, the late, legendary Eartha Kitt.
Arnaldo!’s vocal styling respectfully interprets the songs of Miss Kitt emulating her style, but it’s not an impression. “ After all there is only one Eartha,” Arnaldo! offers.
There is more to the show than the Kitt tribute. In another part of his act, Arnaldo! returns to the stage in yet another gorgeous gown and sings a catalog of international hits, many In the language in which they were written: French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Japanese and “Waray Waray” in Tagalog, Arnaldo!’s first language.
Arnaldo! has appeared throughout the world as soloist with the Seattle Men’s Chorus. As a headliner he has appeared in leading cabarets in Seattle, San Francisco, Puerto Vallarta, Palm Springs , Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York where he won the coveted Bistro Cabaret Award in 2008.
Bob Bruneau is the musical director.
About the Ticket Supplier: M Bar
The "M" stands for music, martinis and mangia (Italian for "eat"). Enter through red velvet drapes to find a speakeasy-like interior dripping in dramatic red, from the vinyl booths to the server's micro-miniskirt. The crowd is eclectic and the mood is bohemian--low lighting, high artistic vibe.
