Get out your groovy gear, because the disco era is taking over the Hollywood Bowl for a night of all-out disco, funk and electronic dance music. Supreme disco band Chic, featuring Nile Rodgers, will perform their numerous hits, including "Le Freak," "Good Times," "Dance, Dance, Dance" and more. Chic co-founder Rodgers is considered one of the most influential producers in the history of popular music and has produced some of the biggest hits in the careers of Madonna, David Bowie and Duran Duran, to name a few. Then, disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder takes the stage, fresh off his work on Daft Punk's latest Grammy-winning album and with new remixes of Donna Summer, Haim and his Scarface
motion picture soundtrack. Also on the bill are some fresh faces -- Destructo, Oliver and Tensnake -- who combine the warmth and energy of funk and disco with the technology and production values of today's dance music to create a sound known as nu-disco.
