SciFi-based improv, not parody, so don't go searching for Star Trek or Star Wars references -- they're rare if they exist at all. The performers came up with a few funny parts, but the best were when you saw the actors themselves come through. Like their relief when just getting rid of an obnoxious character-defining smoking pipe, or how a pet that was first a dog was mistakenly later referred to as a cat, so it eventually became a canine/feline mix.
