More Information About Crooner Brian Evans

Description

Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Brian began his career as an actor in Los Angeles, moving there from Massachusetts at age 16. After various roles on shows such as "Beverly Hills, 90210," and "Full House," Evans took his passion for the crooner style to Canada, where he performed to accolades nationally before debuting at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas. After signing with personal manager Elliott Lott (The Beach Boys), Evans has now performed thousands of shows around the world, and as the opening act for Jay Leno at his Las Vegas concerts, and for Dionne Warwick, Lou Rawls, Franki Valli, and a host of others. Attending Midem in Cannes, France in 2000, Evans found his albums with serious distribution throughout Asia. In 2004, the actor/singer took a unique left turn, running for the United States Senate in Hawaii. After coming in second place in the primary, Evans returned to Vegas where his stint with Jay Leno began. He has been written about worldwide, from People Magazine, USA Today, to Knight Ridder national news articles and Grammy Magazine, who most recently named Evans among Norah Jones as one of the new relevant crooners of our time. Evans sums up his life best in this simple statement: "It's about the ride. I've had a lot of mileage in my life in a short time, and I have always marched to the beat of my own drum. My ups have been great, my downs were mostly caused by myself, but you live and learn. If you haven't lived these songs, you don't have a lot of business singing them." Having worked with some of the biggest names in show business has brought Evans many opportunities, but his next mission is to continue working on what will eventually be his major label debut. In fact, BMG recently licensed Brians album in their membership catalog, BMG Direct, making Brians album the first independent release they have ever signed by a single artist. Perseverance has always been the key to Brian Evans success. "Giving up is not an option. I love what I do, and I'm pretty much laying in wait...but you will know my name."
