Journey to Alaska for a true-life adventure with a family of brown bears facing the challenges of one of the world's last great wildernesses. Set against a majestic Alaskan backdrop, this Disneynature film -- narrated by John C. Reilly (Wreck-It Ralph, Magnolia) -- captures a year in the lives of mother bear Sky, father bear Magnus and their two cubs, Scout and Amber. Over the course of the year, the bears face ongoing threats to their survival, including avalanches, food scarcity, rival bears, and a vicious pack of wolves that lurks in their shadows. But throughout their struggles, the bears share touching moments of tenderness and create for themselves a life of unparalleled beauty. Before the movie, Wildlife Learning Center will showcase exotic animals from around the world, live on the El Capitan Theatre stage. For each ticket purchased, Disneynature will make a contribution to the National Park Foundation to protect wildlife and wild places across America's national park system. Learn More

Took the kids here along with my niece for her birthday. The movie was perfect for a 4 year old and 7 year old - there were also parents (moms AND dads) cosplaying in the audience so that was cute. I love watching movies at El Capitan for the service and atmosphere. The theatre is an old refurbished theatre so it has a great feel. Disney likes to add personal touches - for Secret of the Wings - there was a Tinkerbell photo opp downstairs with a back drop and other fun faerie stuff. Parked at the Kodak Theatre/Mall across the street and walked to El Capitan.
