Goldstar does it again! We had 4 tickets in Row N center Orchestra. We loved the show. The Grinch is played by an actor in Lazytown who plays Robbie Rotten, so my son knew him. The show is fun and funny and has some audience interaction. They even posted the words of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" so the audience could sing along. My 8-year-old loved it. Perfect length - 1:40 no intermission. We went on Sunday and there is a farmer's market two blocks away so we bought veggies waled around. There are tamales and other vendors. The pie lady was awesome too. So fun.
What a fun production! The costumes and sets were very Seuss-ian, and the shape of the Whos was just perfect. Some very nice audience interactions from the perfectly creepy grinchy Grinch. While it's not a musical packed with memorable songs, you may find yourself humming the Who song the next day. Great energy, a lot of fun, and good for the whole family. The kids attending were transfixed... as were their parents.
The show was great! Our seats in the Orchestra were the best. I would definitely recommend it to anyone children and adults. Enjoy!
