El Capitan is a nice theatre, every seat is comfortable and good for viewing. Earth is a movie everyone should see.

Both my friend and I were bitterly disappointed. We didn't realize that we would just be re-watching EXACT clips taken from Planet Earth, which we've both already seen. So nothing in this movie was particularly new. Yes, the imagery was amazing, but so were the exact same images in Planet Earth.

Also, I wouldn't recommend taking children to this movie, it was shockingly depressing, and seemed to involved more animals slowly dying than anything else. We felt a bit like heading out afterwards and drinking our sorrows away.

Though, the animal show beforehand WAS pretty fun, and the theater is of course gorgeous. So it's not a huge mistake to go see this, but just be warned that it isn't the fun "Animal families" kid's film that it was advertised as.

The movie was amazing and the animal show before the movie was short but also very good. BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY. Goldstar tickets are general admissions and some of the later crowd had to sit in the far corners.( it was sold out opening night) As an experience I really enjoyed it, as a movie theater you might want to go somewhere with a bigger screen El Capitan has a decent size screen but nothing special, the sound is pretty good due to the buildings acoustics.Overall "Earth" is an amazing movie for everyone. WATCH IT!!!
