I'm not a big fan of plays, more of a musical type of person, but this play did keep me interested from beginning to end. I thought the cast did a good job in playing their roles and also using what they had of a stage. I was invited from a friend of mine in the cast.
My only negative comment was when I got to the theater I was rudly spoken to from one of the memebers of the production (I think it was the director, but I could be wrong). While I was in the lobby I had my iPhone out checking my email and a lady sitting at a table talking to her friend asked me if the phone I had was mine. When I told her it was, she said it was weird because she has the same looking phone. She then started to dig through her bag and asked her friend to call her phone as if I might had stolen hers. She said all this as I was standing there getting my ticket. This really ticked me off and made it very hard for me to enjoy the show because I kept thinking of how rude she was the entire time. Anyway this totally ruined my first experience at the fight club theater. I know it sounds like a stupid little thing to be angry about but the fact that she was part of the production that I had paid a ticket for to see really turned me off in seeing future plays with that production company. I realized she was part of the production when the friend she was talking to spoke to the audience before the start of the play and she also had a bag full of costumes/props. She also didn't sit in the audience during the show, so she defintely wasn't there to watch. Anyway, just a word of advice, treat your paying audience with a bit more of respect!
