No topic is taboo for Ryan Stout, whose clean-cut look belies his nature to delve into morally repugnant subject matter with smart and sterile objectivity for big laughs. Using exaggerated honesty, delightful insincerity and mock self-righteousness, Stout's wickedly dark material appeals to everyone's sense of logic. Make no mistake, Stout will talk about rape and abortion, but to keep things on an intellectual level, he'll do his best not to curse. A veteran of Chelsea Lately and various MTV shows, Stout will take you into a dark corner ... and make you laugh out loud. Learn More

The benefit, although for a worthy cause, seemed thrown together. The venue opened late, leaving the audience outside in a queue. There wasn't any thematic/sound similarity in the bands. Dave Foley, Bruce McCullogh and Kevin MacDonald looked like they were dragged off of the street to perform with little or no warning.

A totally chaotic production. But what else should one expect from the Kids in the Hall. This is not a knock against the production, simply an acknowledgment that things didn't always work flawlessly and when things went awry, Dave Foley and crew were loose about it and turned it all into fun. The cause for the event was very worthwhile, as this was a benefit for a young girl named Liberty. There was only one reason not to give the event four stars and this reason was personal. One of the acts by the name of The Peculiar Pretzelmen emitted sounds intended to be musical in nature that actually made me long to hear nails on a blackboard. Some in attendance seemed to enjoy the act, but they may have simply been deaf. All of the other acts provided a night of great entertainment, beginning with Liberty's aunt. This event was well worth the trip from San Diego. Kudos

Love Kids; but saw show at UCLA recently-same material.
Musical groups, except for the first to appear, sucked. Put a damper on the evening.
