Description

Glass Walls is a family comedy set in the living room of a Midwestern town in the present, about a reclusive paranoid man, Jeremy, 40, who is doing his best to care for his elderly, disabled father, Ralph, 78, and protect their barricaded home from intruders. His world is thrown into chaos when a harmless escapee from the nearby mental institution, Wad, 38, gets in the house while he is out for supplies. He can’t get her to leave and his life is further complicated when his hot-shot attorney brother, George, 45, learns of the woman and jets in from New York to take charge. George tries to get her out and Jeremy refuses to help. Even when George succeeds, she comes back. George and Jeremy almost come to blows over the situation, old childhood wounds are opened, Jeremy goes out and then refuses to speak to George when he comes back. Finally, George has no where else to turn except to his father Ralph, whose wisdom is apparent but whose speech is unintelligible. However, even the most dysfunctional family can learn that unconditional love and acceptance can be the answer.
